Stuck again because a fitting hasn’t arrived?
In many workshops and plants, “just in time” sounds great—until an urgent maintenance job pops up, a fitting takes six weeks to arrive, or demand spikes out of nowhere.
Result: lines stopped, last-minute purchases, and technicians hunting for parts around the storeroom. The cost isn’t just money; it’s stress, delays, and customers waiting.
And when stock fails, everything gets messy.
Critical references get mixed up, counts don’t match, and the team spends time on non-value work.
Without a clear system, replenishment turns reactive: today caps, tomorrow elbows, the day after ¼” female fittings.
Every stockout is a micro-crisis—and the more instrumentation references you manage, the easier it is for something to slip.
Here’s where our system comes in.
Redfluid has developed a storage system for fittings designed for industry and instrumentation.
It’s not “just another cabinet”: it’s a modular, custom setup that organizes your real usage, labels every reference with barcode/QR, and defines a simple replenishment flow anyone can follow.
The goal is clear: zero stockouts on what you actually use.
How does it work day to day?
We start by analyzing which fittings move, how much, and where. We design a made-to-measure layout and deliver it ready to use, already labeled and configured. In operation, you can replenish in two ways: scan the label with a reader or phone to request units, or use a minimum-level card (two-bin style) placed in the last bag in the drawer. When the operator opens it, they know it’s at minimum and pass the card to purchasing. No mandatory software, no friction.
Why does it improve your operation?
Because it turns chaos into routine: every instrumentation reference has its place, its label, and its replenishment rule. Visibility is immediate, picking is faster, and replenishment no longer depends on “who remembers.” The system is scalable too: we start with what’s critical and add modules as demand grows. If you want, we can look at integrating with your ERP to automate orders via scanning.
