Flushing ring

The flushing ring is installed between the diaphragm seal and the process flange, using standard gaskets.
It can be supplied with one or two lateral flushing ports.
Build-up, especially on the membrane, is removed by washing/cleaning, preventing measurement drift.

Versions with mounted valves extend the seal system and allow maintenance without disassembly.
In-situ calibration of the measuring point.
With a flushing ring with valves and an upstream shut-off valve, calibration can be carried out in the field.
Redfluid’s range includes the required calibration equipment.

Characteristics

Service pressure

  • Flange rating: ASME B16.5 CL150–CL2500 / EN 1092-1 PN10–PN400.
  • Higher rating options available on request.

Diameters / DN

  • Compatible with standard DN and NPS for the seal and flange.
  • Other sizes and specific internal bores made to order.

Ring thickness

  • Standard thicknesses to suit the gasket and maintain proper clamping.
  • Non-standard and calibrated thicknesses for special cases.

Types of Flushing ring

We manufacture different types of Flushing ring:
  • Wide range of special materials
  • Flushing ports with screw/plug closures.
  • Versions with integrated valves.
  • Available to standard specifications and common DN sizes.

Benefits

  • Line and membrane cleaning/flushing without disassembly, preventing build-up and measurement drift.
  • In-situ calibration of the measuring point (with an upstream valve)
  • Versions with pre-mounted valves for fast, safe maintenance.
  • Uses standard gaskets; suitable for flush and cell-type diaphragm seals.
