Choose the suitable pipe according to your work pressure and temperature with this easy-to-use online calculator.

The calculator shows you the pressure of stainless 316L (ASTM 316/L TP316L, TP316, 1.4404 or in Superduplex F55).

Our engineers made the calculations according to ASME B31.1. You only have to indicate the outside diameter of the pipe and the wall thickness, and it will automatically calculate the pressure it can withstand depending on different temperatures.

Your pipe or tube diameter is not on the list? Are you looking for a material other than stainless 316 or Superduplex? Or maybe you need a certified result?

We make it even easier for you. If you don’t want any problems, you can send the form and let our engineers send you a certified result. Also, we can calculate it according to different standards such as EN 13480-3, ASME B31.1 or ASME B31.3. Depending on your needs, we can use the European or American standard.

Those standards are difficult to use if you do not have a strong engineering background. Forget about all of this and get a result verified by our engineers.

With an additional optional fee, we can do a certified report. You can ask for other standards, diameters, temperatures, or materials.

Calculation in millimeters, inches or Schedule with dimensions according to ASME B36.10

Is the result certified?

NOT in the online free version. The suggested pressures on this calculator are given only as guidance. The sizing of piping systems also depends on other factors such as external forces, thermal stresses, dead weight, etc. Also, the design must be done in accordance with local authority regulations and approved accordingly.

Need a certified result?

No problem. If you need a certified result, fill in the following form. Our engineers will analyze all the information and will give you the first draft in less than 24 hours. In 4 days, you will receive a certificate prepared by Redfluid engineers, that will additionally be reviewed and signed electronically by the College of Engineers of Cataluña.

How much does a certified report cost?

For a certified report, an administrative fee of € 250 will be charged.

How many revisions will they include?

Before sending the electronically signed certificate, you will receive a draft. This draft can be revised or even include other grades or parameters. Once you are satisfied with the draft, you will no longer be able to review it. We send the draft to the college of engineers to sign and seal. Once stamped, no changes can be made to the document.

Do you have questions or need a certified solution?
